Help us find our lost alumni
Our alumni travel far and wide and, as a consequence, over the years there are many with whom we have lost touch. In the run-up to our 50th celebrations, we are actively seeking to re-establish contact with our lost alumni and we are asking for your help. Search our lost alumni directory.
For nearly 50 years, the University of York has produced many notable and well known alumni who have made a significant contribution and impact in the world.
Each year the University of York confers honorary degrees. Honorary graduates are selected from nominations from the University and very often have links with departments or are given to alumni.
Named in memory of John Bowes (JB) Morrell who was at the forefront of the campaign to create a university in York, the Morrell Fellowships are a means of recognising a small community of benefactors who have made significant contributions to the fabric and life of the University.
