US Alumni Connections Fund
The new US Alumni Connections Fund aims to build on the successful work started by the Visiting Scholarship Fund (established in 2007) which, thanks to generous alumni, has so far supported over 40 University of York students to make the most out of their transatlantic experience and to encourage more to embark on this life-changing opportunity.
The ways in which international experience can be gained by students is expanding and to reflect this the US Alumni Connections Fund will provide support across more areas. As well as supporting students on transatlantic exchanges your gifts can also support students (from the US and the UK) undertaking internships in the US and those who wish to visit the US for academic conferences, research or other developmental opportunities.
We need your help
For students like Emma (right), taking advantage of international opportunities presents a real financial hurdle and it is difficult to fund the experience without support.
Your gift will help to widen the horizons of the next generation of York students and in doing so strengthen our alumni community in the USA.
