Student callers wanted

Are you confident, friendly and articulate?

Fascinated by people and always finding something in common with someone else?

Keen to help all students get the most out of their time at York?

If that sounds like you, we need you for our telephone fundraising team! You’ll work six to ten hours per week during term time evenings, chatting to graduates of the University of York, finding out what they’ve been doing since they left, updating them on recent developments here and asking them to support the York Annual Fund with a regular donation.

The money raised will provide bursaries for students facing financial hardship, help clubs and societies to excel and enable special projects to get off the ground. It’s all about alumni giving back to make sure that current and future students get the most from their time at York.

The job is perfect for people who are enthusiastic and confident negotiators, while also being sensitive and good listeners.

And it’s good for you… £7.50 per hour, full training, a great working environment, skills to enhance your CV and a reference at the end.
