Having raised £40,000 for good causes at York, and more beyond, YuCycle is back on 11 June 2017 and we want you to join us.

Starting and finishing at the prestigious York Sport Village, YuCycle is a challenge cycling event that inspires people to get on their bikes in support of good causes. With a range of routes designed for people of all abilities, the event will attract a large, diverse audience from across the University and local area, as well as the extensive cycling community.

For those looking to support riders, a cycling celebration event will add a real party atmosphere at the start and finishing line.

2017 aims to build on the success of previous events: last year, we attracted 270 riders of all ages. Our goal in 2017 is to double the participant numbers, attract thousands to our cycling celebration and beat our £15,000 fundraising target.

This is highly achievable thanks to the event’s strong brand and marketing reach, developed since the event’s inception. Our good cause, mental health and wellbeing, will present the opportunity for marketing campaigns targeted at a variety of interest groups, as synergy between our cause and physical activity is well documented. Collaboration by our team of communications professionals across multiple promotional channels will also ensure increased press and social media coverage.

There is a unique chance to partner in the event and we’d welcome the opportunity to work with your company in line with your aims. Make 2017 the year that your company encourages others to challenge themselves.
